Marine Transportation

Tiong Woon's Marine Transportation division specialises in the provision of tug and barge services for a wide range of sea transportation projects. Supported by a modern and versatile fleet of vessels manned by a team of experienced crew, its fleet comprises of crane barges for heavy lift operations, Offshore Ballastable Barges, high performance tugboats and anchor handling tugs (AHTs) that are fully equipped for offshore marine services. The division has a fleet renewal program in place to ensure that its vessels are ever ready to serve the needs of its clients.

Its strategic location, complete with a private waterfront and jetty facilities, makes the Group's Marine Transportation division the ideal choice for barging services. Its berthing jetty and modern concrete ramps are able to support Roll On/Roll Off operations (RO-RO) for the transfer of oversized cargoes onto barges.

Working closely with the Group's other business divisions, it also takes in non-regular marine transport assignments that are carefully planned and executed by its team of expert engineers.

Its vessels are currently chartered and deployed to work in different geographical regions which include Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar and the United Arab Emirates. The division will strive to significantly grow and expand its fleet size so as to capitalise on the business opportunities in the exploration and production markets which will further strengthen Tiong Woon Marine Transportation's service capability and position in the market.
